Top-Rated Attractions & Places to Visit
We highly recommend you to visit Hněvín Castle. There is a beautiful view on The Ore Mountains and The Central Bohemian Massif. You can see local skyscraper (the former headquarters of the North Bohemian Brown Coal Mines), the terrace building of the Cascade Hotel and the closed cultural house Repre with the dome of the Planetarium, which is awaiting reconstruction.
The city centre is sadly neglected, waiting for a reconstruction that should revitalise it. If you want to visit the city center, we highly recommend you to do so during the day (not in the evening). Unfortunately, the city centre is surrounded by so-called socially excluded localities (no-go zones), where it is not recommended to go, especially not in the evening.
You can see The Lake Most and the relocated Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, that you should definitely visit (including the sheltered café with workshops, which is located next door in the former hospital).
If you search for a restaurant that won’t offend you with food, portion sizes and prices, head to Švejk restaurant. Once you’re sitting on the terrace, you can visit the Regional Museum, which is right next door and where you can park for free.
If you love street food, you should definitely stop by street food stand MarinGODka (top!).
You can book probably the best accommodation in Most in The Sports Areal Benedikt.
